We now have an opportunity for a highly competent Production Manager to take the lead of our production teams to ensure safe, effective, well-structured and enjoyable workplace environment.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Direction, management and motivation of all team members
- Managing the efficient and effective production of food and non-food areas
- Meeting production efficiency targets on time as per the production schedule
- Deliver first class and continuous staff training
- Minimising wastage during production
- Ensuring that the highest benchmark of food safety and quality is maintained at all times
The successful candidate will be:
- Highly experienced in a similar role within a manufacturing environment (experience within FMCG environments will be highly regarded)
- Comfortable working with production machinery
- A determined and proactive decision maker
- A proven leader and motivator with a natural ability to positively influence others
- A strategic resource planner, focused on planning for tomorrow, not just today
- Full of relentless energy and positive interactions with all
- Self-driven with a high attention to detail
- An excellent communicator, comfortable in dealing with people at all levels
- Able to enjoy working under pressure in a fast paced and diverse environment
