The Salvation Army Salvos Stores is seeking to employ a Truck Driver to work at our main warehouse/ distribution centre for our operations in Brisbane.
Based at Red Hill, the position will be responsible for assisting in the pick up and delivery of donated items to our Stores and warehouse, as well as provide excellent customer service in a timely and efficient manner.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to really make a difference in the lives of people, as all funds raised from the sale of our donated goods are channelled into The Salvation Army's social & community programs.
As our ideal candidate, you will meet the following essential criteria:
•Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
•Understanding of WH&S issues affecting the work area.
•Ability to work under minimal supervision and to work in accordance with a schedule.
•Demonstrated understanding of the principles of customer service in a retail environment
• An understanding, empathy, appreciation and the ability to promote the values and ethos of The Salvation Army.
*Possession of an MR licence is essential.
