Maxima have been engaged to recruit a workshop assistant for an electrical switchboard manufacturer based in Brisbane, paying $25.90 per hour + super. This role is best suited to someone who has high levels of organisation skills, great attention to detail and is capable of creating their own stock control systems. Initially on labour hire with the view of going permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing
• Unloading and loading of stock
• Record keeping of incoming and outgoing stock
• Storing stock supplies in correct locations
• General cleaning of warehouse areas

Successful applicants will require the following:

• Forklift ticket (required)
• Must be physically fit, self-motivated, reliable and willing to work hard.
• Ability to work 5 days per week plus overtime as required
• Have good picking and packing skills
• Demonstrate an excellent attendance record
• Be dedicated to working in a safe manner and satisfying customer needs
