Our team in Melbourne currently has a vacancy for a highly motivated individual to join us in the capacity of full time Customer Service Representative.

This is an ongoing full time position that will work on a rotating roster between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm. Flexibility to work on rostered weekends and public holidays are requirements of this role.

This role is responsible for providing superior client experiences and solutions to all World Courier customers to ensure their needs and expectations are met and exceeded, and that the reputation of the Company is enhanced during each engagement.

The successful candidate will:

  • have significant experience in the customer service industry or previous experience in freight forwarding;
  • an understanding of Import and Export processes and statutory requirements and 3rd Party Logistics;
  • highly developed organisational, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • sound experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Ability to follow through client orders from the start to end;
  • a strong work ethic; and
  • a positive attitude

The successful appointee will be a motivated self starter with the ability to demonstrate initiative and act autonomously.

Knowledge of the freight forwarding and 3PL industries would be advantageous.
