We seek a Driver & Yard Hand to join our Road Transport Operations team located at our Darlington transport yard. You must be willing and able to undertake both driving and yard duties : -
- Driving single Semi's or B-Doubles (as licenced) to transport equipment to and from various civil construction site locations across metro Adelaide and country SA. This may involve working away when needed.
- Yard Hand duties, including washing heavy mobile plant and machinery, loading and unloading trucks, warehouse and general Yard duties.
To be considered you must have : -
- Truck Licence | HC minimum.
- Forklift licence and experience in loading and unloading trucks.
- Experience with Tipper trucks.
- Familiar with industrial pressure and steam cleaning equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Good personal presentation and a proactive can-do attitude
Ideally you will also have: -
- Dogman and EWP tickets.
- Tilt truck experience including Hiab crane
The position is Casual at first, with permanency after a successful probation period. Full-time hours. Standard hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 4.30pm, with overtime as reasonably required. Successful applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment medical which includes drug testing.
