Hanson is seeking an enthusiastic and professional HC/MC Driver to join our Biloela fleet of Tipper Trucks. You will have responsibility for delivering quarry material to our internal metro concrete plants and to external job sites.
 
Tasks and duties will include:

• Ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy and mechanically sound.
• Driving vehicles to their destination and unloading according to site requirements.
• Carrying out daily cleaning of the truck.
• Having a sufficient working knowledge of the product and to comply with the relevant delivery standards.
• Passing on customer concerns to Central Despatch or Company Sales Representatives
• Maintenance tasks including yard duties.

 
To successfully secure this opportunity, you will

• Have a valid HC/MC license.
• Have a current copy of driving history.
• Have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
• Have minimum 12 months commercial HR/HC truck driving experience.
• Have a FEL ticket (advantageous).
• Have a Construction Card (White Card)
• Be reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
• Have a great attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be capable and confident in your capability.
• Be able to work with a flexible roster including Saturdays.

All successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening. Random drug and alcohol tests are conducted on all Hanson premises.
