Demeter Cormack Pty Ltd, an Export and Grain Trading company based in Hope Valley, is seeking an enthusiastic and physically fit assistant/trainee grain handler to join the team.
The position will be responsible for:
- Assisting in grain handling and micronizing
- Dealing with customers
- Maintaining a safe work environment
The successful applicant should have the following skills:
- Previous experience in grain handing preferred but not essential
- Forklift ticket preferred but not essential
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- An ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- A committed self-motivated team player with willingness to learn as well as being loyal, flexible & hands on
- A strong desire to help the company be the market leader
- Have a car and valid drivers licence
This position is a casual position and the successful applicant will need to be flexible with work hours. Training provided on-site after a qualifying period. Potential progression to permanent role for the right candidate.
