The Client:
Our Client is a market leader within the industrial sector for the manufacture and distribution of a wide range of quality gas and sealing solutions. Due to organizational growth, they are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to take over the day to day management of their busy warehouse operations.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Managing warehouse health and safety procedures and compliance
- Workforce planning to ensure that the warehouse is operating as efficiently as possible
- Managing discrepancies with stock and customer orders
- Training and mentoring staff
- Organisation and management of daily stock counts and picking requirements
- Monitoring of quality control and compliance
- Customer service management and engagement
- Process improvement and development
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualities, skills and experience:
- 7 + years’ experience in a warehouse management/leadership position
- Experience within an industrial warehouse environment
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to lead, coach and mentor a team
- Highly motivated and driven to succeed
- Strong attention to detail
- Sound Microsoft Office skills – exposure to warehouse management systems will also be highly favorable
