FlameStop Australia is the largest independent Fire Equipment wholesaler in the country and currently we are seeking a Stock Controller to support our fast growing business.
Reporting to the National Operations Manager you will be responsible for proactively supporting the Logistics Team and Sales Managers in each state, ensuring that our expansive range of products is readily available and replenished at our distribution centres around the country.
In a fast paced environment with a high demand for our products, organisation and motivation will be the key and your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:-
- Maintaining a stock management and allocation system
- Supporting the sales team and National network of warehouses with stock availability
- Co-ordinate all internal logistics movements across Australia and New Zealand
- Forecasting and ordering stock from both local and overseas suppliers
- Manage the co-ordination of Import process including goods received
- Monthly reporting
- Liaising with our national warehouse staff in relation to receiving and booking in of overseas containers
- General administration and support to the National team as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task
- International shipping/freight experience preferred
- Strong customer service and written communication skills
- Precise administration skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Exceptional organisational skills
- High attention to details
- Strong communication skills with a polite and assertive manner
- Strong MS office skills, especially Excel
