About the role
Baileys Diesel Group have an outstanding career opportunity for a focused and energetic individual to join the manufacturing team as a Team Leader based in our world class state of the art facility.
As a key member of the Manufacturing sector, the Team Leader is responsible for managing one of the production lines by monitoring product quality and output on shift, ensuring customer requirements are met. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide technical support to all lines and services, ensuring best practice is implemented on shift.
Additional responsibilities include:
- ensuring the quality product is made in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
- coordinating development strategies for improved process control
- managing non-conforming product for re-classing and disposal
- supporting management during change initiatives
- resolving product production issues in a timely manner
The role will see you work closely with manufacturing teams and other workshop managers to manage product output.
The Person
We are seeking a result driven individual with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. You can work well under pressure and make decisions in a timely manner. Your strong focus on quality, continuous improvement, and exceptional interpersonal skills will ensure your success in this role.
Well organised, self-motivated and respectful, you will have the capability of bringing your crew on the journey recognising their experiences, skills and strengths and supporting their ongoing professional development and successes.
A tertiary qualification in Materials Engineering and experience working in a similar manufacturing environment will be highly desirable.
