Procurement Specialist - 6 month contract - Transport & Logistics - Strategic Sourcing

We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist for a six months opportunity. There is the possibility of the role being further extended. This is an opportunity to utilise your procurement expertise with an environment of circa a $300 million spend

Applicants must possess the following experience to be considered for this role:

Demonstrated three to five years experience within a freight and logistics environment
A strong understanding of the management of the purchasing cycle from start through to completion
The ability to work in with and support relevant Departments in effectively ensuring the timely delivery of good and services
Securing goods and services at the best possible price to the Organisation whilst ensuring contract terms and conditions meet the requirements of the Organisation
Must be proficient in using SAP
