A once in a lifetime opportunity to join a reputable company working very closely with their well know director. Currently experiencing a high volume of growth, they are now seeking the right candidate to join your not so average 9am-5pm position that will allow for tremendous opportunities working in their state of the art manufacturing sites. This person will be motivated and strategic in their role as the Safety and Quality Manager - Food Manufacturing.
This role will include but is not limited to:
•Managing a team across multiple sites
•Liaising with the product development teams to ensure that all products are created and meeting customer requirements
•Managing the company's HSE system including ensuring all sites and facilities meet legislation and appropriate Safe Systems of Work training is provided to staff
•Implement HSE education and training programs and work towards continuous improvement and compliance as well as notifying the team in regards to updated in HSE legislation
•Controlling the team in terms of all regulatory and quality of food safety standards for all products
•Managing the quality and accuracy of the quality records with constant review of documentation and changing industry requirements
•Continually driving improved awareness of process efficiencies and safety standards
In order to be considered for this role you will need:
•Tertiary qualifications within a relevant field
•Excellent verbal and communication skills
•An acute attention to detail
•3-5 years proven experience within a HSE and quality management role, specifically in food manufacturing
•Have knowledge in Food Safety Standards and Systems
•A driven and focused attitude with an ability to work well under pressure
