About The Opportunity

The Moreton Hire Group is seeking a Project & Production Coordinator to join their Operations team in Brisbane. Based in Rochedale but sitting with both sales and operations, the role will be working alongside blue chips clients and our international supply chain to deliver key projects. 

As Production Coordinator, you will be assisting the Account Managers in the operational coordination and planning of our client projects. Your responsibility is to ensure all project planning and production is completed ahead of time, within budget and in accordance with client expectations. At a minimum, the PC will be responsible for the following areas: 

• Manage and schedule the work for each project within the Sales and Operations team
• Sourcing quotes and managing purchase orders
• Manage the stock incomings and outgoings and align our stock management system accordingly
• Support Account Managers with budgets and margin management for each project
• Building and development of relationships with supplier database
• Responsible for the supplier agreements and pricing
• Day-to-day administrative support of the Account Management and Project Management teams

Your Experience

• University Degree Completed
• Minimum of 5 years in the workforce, ideally in a similar position
• Must have experience in purchasing and purchase order processing
• Booking keeping background encouraged
• Passion for operational efficiency and accuracy
• Strong administration, project management and production experience
• Ability to deal with challenging deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Confidence in customer service
• Advanced in Microsoft Office suite
• High attention to detail and multi-tasking capabilities
• Driver’s license & permanent residency or ability to work in Australia
