An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join this dynamic team in key role. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the control of warehouse and 3pl logistics including storage, handling and distribution.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing a small team of warehouse personnel
- Managing the storage, handling and distribution of cargo
- Entering order / stock receipts / goods into freight company WHS system
- Maintain stock integrity through regular cycle counts
- Preparing outgoing goods reports
- Arrange container packs / unpacks
- Reporting on damages, shortages or loss of cargo
- Arrange distribution of cargo as required by 3PL client
- Handling Bonded cargo
- Accounts related functions to include processing creditor invoices, periodic invoicing
- Assist with initiatives and projects within Warehouse
- Working closely with operational team members to ensure client needs are met
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate / possess:
- Knowledge of relevant freight forwarding logistics processes
- Applicants must have recent warehousing experience gained specifically within an international freight forwarding environment
- Able to work in a team envirnoment
- Excellent communication skills
- OH&S knowledge and commitment
- Strong time management skills and able to meet deadlines
