This role will be located at the Support Office in Abbotsford, reporting to the Production Manager. You will work closely with various departments on a day to day basis, including the Design, Planning and Supply Chain teams.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining and developing existing and new relationships with overseas supply base
- Setting up and maintaining styles in the buy-plan, SVI and style books
- Measuring pre-production garment samples
- Tracking pre-production samples and advertising samples for marketing purposes
- Raising purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner by brand
- Run weekly purchase order report and cancel balances on styles delivered
- Managing shipment tracking schedule
- Identifying and rectifying garment faults
- Heavy focus on admin and data entry
- Specification set ups
To be considered for this role, you will ideally:
- Have experience working with shipping and suppliers
- Experience in garment manufacturing and a sound knowledge of all types of garment construction
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and explain garment production specifications
- Have the ability to manage priorities, projects and stakeholders successfully
- Have excellent communication & problem solving skills
- Have intermediate computer & Microsoft Office skills – Excel knowledge a MUST
- Be a quick learner with high attention to detail
