About the Company
Supagas is a fast growing national, leading supplier of cylinder gases such as LPG, Industrial Gases, Hospitality Gases and Helium.
About the Role
Due to continuing growth, we are seeking a Casual Driver/Yard Hand for the winter, to join our Canberra Branch to assist in our daily deliveries of LPG and Industrial Gases in Canberra. Previous industry experience is an advantage but not essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Refilling LPG cylinders (Forklift & 45kg)
- Loading and unloading company vehicles (with forklift)
- Organising stock around the yard
- Picking orders
- General yard duties
- High-frequency, multi-drop deliveries of cylinders to customers
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills, attributes and equipment:
- Hold a current HR license Dangerous Goods License will be favored.
- Hold a valid forklift license
- Knowledge of the city, towns and villages within a 200km radius
- Be punctual, reliable and honest
- Organised, well presented and computer literate (hand-held device)
- A "YES WE CAN" attitude towards customer service
- Safety focused individuals
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
