About the Client
Our client is a part of a well established global manufacturing company. They are a trusted company specialising in the manufacturing and distribution of engineering supplies and products.

About the Job
This position exists to maximize the total warehousing function and to maintain an efficient warehousing system in order to provide a high standard of customer service in accordance with company policy. You will be required to work under minimal supervision with little direction. It is up to you to be a self-starter and work well with initiative from initial instructions. You will be required to be punctual, reliable, well presented, organised, and courteous.

Duties

• Dispatch/Receipt of orders/stock, freight monitoring, and maintaining integrity of stock
• Achievement of KPIs set by Management
• Training new or temporary staff as the need arises
• Liaise with Manager, internal staff and external agencies
• Ensure safety of self and others
• Maintenance of warehouse and equipment
• Replenishment of store supplies
• Promote and maintain a good image of the company at all times
• Any other related duties that maybe required from time to time as per company guidelines

Requirements

• Extensive experience with a sound knowledge and background in stores and warehousing procedures.
• Current drivers license and reliable car
• Current Forklift license
