We are seeking a Supply Chain manager to execute the company strategy through achieving the day-to-day operational outcomes and efficiencies required. With responsibility for the purchasing, production and distribution functions of the business, you will play an integral role in taking this established and successful Australian business to the next level.
Reporting into the Managing Director, and forming part of the Senior Leadership team, you will be a crucial contributor, both at the strategic and operational level, ensuring the achievement of strategy through your ability to lead, manage and inspire and bring a disciplined approach to the role.
As a production environment, you will manage and oversee the entire process from sourcing, inventory control, and warehousing through to the efficient production and delivery of the final product in adherence to strict measures of quality and service. Ultimately, you will own the operational process from order through to delivery to the customer.
Our ideal candidate will bring strong operational experience from a supply chain background, particularly in dealing with long lead times. Whilst this is a role for a blossoming operations/supply chain professional, you must be able to demonstrate proven strength in budgetary, stock and process control. As you will be accountable for the forecasting process, a strong practical understanding of SAP B1, or similar, is crucial.
