A National timber furniture manufacturer based in Western Sydney is looking for a strong Team Leader to manage their assembly production team on a temp to perm arrangement.
The role will be Monday to Thursday 6:30am - 3pm and an early mark on Fridays, finishing at 12:30pm. However this role will expect a moderate amount of overtime to be worked, paid at penalty rates (no weekend work).
Candidates can expect an hourly rate of $27+/hr pending.
What the role will involve:
- Managing an assembly team of 10 staff members
- Working to production KPI's and client deadlines
- Performance management
- Managing rostering and overtime
- Liaising with dispatch and logistics
- Running toolbox talks
- Creating worksheets for assembly team
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous leadership experience in production manufacturing
- Managed a team of approx. 10 or more staff
- Excellent time management and prioritising abilities
- Timber industry background a bonus
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential
