The Wine Company is a family owned Sales and Marketing Wine Distributor, servicing the Eastern Seaboard of Australia. We have a highly skilled and knowledgeable team representing a number of leading Australian, New Zealand and International Brands. Established in 1985, The Wine Company services the On Premise Trade, Independent Retailers, Wholesalers and the Major Supermarket Chains.

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Warehouse Operator to join our team in Mount Waverley.

The role is full time, Monday to Friday.

Working in a fast paced environment, the main duties include;

• Picking and packing of orders.
• Unloading containers and trucks.
• Preparation of daily manifests.
• Liaising with freight forwarders.
• Regular stock counts

To succeed in this role, you must have;

• A current forklift licence.
• Experience in a similar warehouse role.
• The ability to multi-task.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Very good attention to detail.
• The ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• A strong work ethic.
• Be able to work to strict daily deadlines.

The successful candidate will be working in a diverse and busy environment.  You will be joining a reputable organisation and will work with a great team. You must be reliable and physically be able to work within an environment where moderate to heavy lifting is involved. A safety first mindset is a must.
