Our client an Australian owned family business, who offer customers streamlined solutions is currently seeking an experience Forklift Operator.
Based in Acacia Ridge.
This role is initially for a 3 week period with the potential to go longer for the right candidate.
Our client is looking to cover the below shift for Monday 16th July commencement date. PM - Hours will be: 11:00am until 7:06pm (afternoon rates apply)
**please note this role will not suit people from a warehouseing environment who primarily work in pallet in & pallet out environments**
Skills & experience needed:
- Must have a LF licence
- Previous Transport & logistics experience - fast paced environment
- Be Physically fit
- Happy with repetitive lifting
- A team player (Be happy off the forklift & help as needed, manual labourer, general tidying)
- Available now & ready to commence asap
- Flexible/ can do attitudeDuties:
- Loading & unloading of the trucks
- Distributing the ugly loads into the appropriate bays for despatch
- Assisting drivers with the tarping & strapping
- Some heavy lifting may be involved - manual loading/ unloading
