Based at the Brisbane Airport and rostered to work a 4 on / 4 off day roster, the role:

  • Plans for and authorises upcoming maintenance to be carried out by Toll Aviation Engineering’s CASR Part 145 organisation, liaising with Operator’s Maintenance Controllers;  
  • Compiles and monitors the progress of all open aircraft maintenance work packs to ensure compliance with the Toll Aviation Engineering system of maintenance, updating the content if additional customer requirements are received, and performs a vetting process at work pack closure;
  • Ensures customers are updated on a regular basis regarding task progress and highlights any defects arising or technical issues relating to the delivery of contracted maintenance services;
  • Promotes company Values and Core beliefs.

The successful applicant must have the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning and co-ordination, with current aviation regulatory experience;
  • Sound understanding of aviation operations, safety and airworthiness management systems in the CASA CASR Part 145 & CAR30 regulatory frameworks;
  • Aviation qualification relevant to area of employment;
  • Safety awareness and a good understanding of OH&S legislative and company procedural requirements;
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills;
  • Competent Microsoft programs skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, within strict timelines;
  • Ability to relate to all levels, both inside and outside the organisation; and
  • Ability to improvise, adapt and overcome objections/resistance and achieve goals.
