About the Role:
Already the largest automotive recycled parts supplier in Australia and are growing rapidly, with sites in Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast and Queanbeyan. To support this rapid growth, we are seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant, for our industry leading Automotive Parts Warehouse in Arundel.
Key Duties of the role:
- Picking orders in accordance with order form specifications
- Operating order picking
- Operating Forklift
- Printing labels and inventory tickets
- Assisting with loading and unloading trucks or other transportation vehicles
- Labelling and storing parts accurately
- Completing and verifying paperwork to ensure accurate tracking of parts in the warehouse and to our customers
- General warehouse duties as required
- Assist other warehouse staff as required
- Packing & wrapping parts for distribution
Key Requirements for the role:
- Previous Warehousing experience - essential
- Intermediate computer skills
- LO and LF Licences (order Picker & Forklift) - essential
- Ability to work alone while still remaining to work as part of a team
- Eye for detail - with quality control inspection of all parts carried out before leaving warehouse
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Understand the importance of a fast paced workplace
- Understanding safe work practices - OH&S
- Mechanical knowledge would be advantageous for this role
