We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Control Coordinator to join our Kensington based Quality team. 

To meet the responsibilities of our role you will need to be able to:

  • Complete all quality related activities (e.g. calibration, cleaning validation, allergen control, validation & verification etc.)
  • Coordinate the company’s Quality Management systems as required
  • Assist with internal and external quality audits & inspections 
  • Ensure compliance to Food Safety (HACCP), GMP, third party and customer certification requirements
  • Managing, resolving and analyzing customer complaints 
  • Advise on compliance & regulation to improve and develop our quality control programs
  • Assist with Training of staff to improve and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices on line
  • Liaise with Production, Sales and Logistics on all aspects of compliance

This is a hands-on role and will require you to engage different tiers of business to deliver high quality and safe products.

You will also need:

  • Qualifications in Science/Food Technology
  • Food industry experience
  • Understanding of Quality and Food Safety systems such as BRC, WSE, Aldi and HACCP
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced time management and administration skills 
  • Experience in dealing with the quality assurance aspects of doing business with large Australian companies such as Coles and Woolworths would be a significant asset
  • Ability to start work early, (generally 6:30am, with one day each week at 5:30am)
