An opportunity has been created for a Procurement Manager to manage the end-to-end procurement and management of a range of direct categories. This role is based in Melbourne.

The Role

Reporting to the Group Procurement Manager your responsibilities will include;

• You will support the development, deployment and management of procurement strategies for direct categories
• You will deliver sustained value and competitive advantage for the business by working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Leading the design and implementation of sourcing strategies, you will deliver cost savings and efficiency improvements across the portfolio 
• You will develop adherence policies and work with the business to ensure optimum service levels are achieved by all level of suppliers

Your Background

In order to be successful in this role you will be;

• You will be degree qualified and have a minimum of 5 years experience owning direct categories in a large FMCG organisation
• Naturally influential, you will engage stakeholders with ease and negotiate successfully to deliver on key business objectives
• Well developed compliance and regulation experience with the ability to manage supplier contracts
• A desire to continuously review and improve current processes, with a collaborative approach to all stakeholders
