About the business

We are a small manufacturing company located in Vermont. We've been in business for over fifteen years and have been growing each and every year. 

About the role

We need an employee who doesn't want to be a number! Someone who prefers being part of a close knit team. 

We need a factory worker who is able to complete all orders from manufacture to despatch. This involves the following process:

- Receiving orders - You must have attention to detail as each order is for different stock.

- Finding relevant stock, loading/unloading machines to wind stock down.

- Taking stock to packing area, packing accordingly to customer specs.

- Getting order ready for despatch - putting all relevant paperwork to each carton - attention to detail is also a must.

The role involves all other warehouse duties which range from forklift use (the right candidate will be offered training), general warehousing, stocking of shelves, loading unloading trucks and containers, warehouse clean ups, use of additional larger machines including guillotines.

You wont get stuck in traffic working 7am-3pm Monday to Friday! 

We're close to bus stops and shops but would prefer someone with a reliable car.

Skills and experience

We will provide training for the right employee but the following would help:

- someone who can work autonomously with minimum supervision

- friendly attitude

- eager to learn, someone who shows initiative

- attention to detail is a must - sound reading and writing skills

- quick learner

- someone who is comfortable operating machinery

- someone who is physically fit and capable of heavy lifting when needed

- someone who wants a long term position
