Randstad Procurement are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join a large industrial focused organisation. The organisation is recognised as an employer of choice with an excellent working environment, career development, strong leadership and employee benefits.
Key accountabilities for the role:
- Engage and lead the contracts team with pre-award contracts
- Mitigating risk through stringent contract management practices from reviewing, negotiating and executing customer agreements/contracts
- Advise internal business units (legal, finance, sales, procurement) on commercial contractual frameworks and negotiation
- Autonomy to further improve contractual frameworks, policy and team
- Ability to manage and interpret contractual terms and conditions, insurances, rebates, contract renewals adding commercial value
- Legal knowledge and ability to interpret legal clauses and mitigate risk
Candidate criteria:
- Strong, proven commercial contract experience
- Demonstration of stakeholder engagement and supplier relationship management
- Legal degree qualification
- Excellent written and communication skills
