We are currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor to join the team based at Eastern Creek. You will be responsible for supervising the day to day operations of the Organics Resource Recovery Facility, ensuring the efficient operation of the facility in accordance with SUEZ standards and operating procedures, and meet our customer’s expectations in relation to service levels and product quality. 

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Leadership in ensuring safety of the site, which includes compliance with WH&S procedures;
• Supervision of the daily operations at the site to ensure smooth running of the facility;
• Ensuring all site staff and visitor inductions are completed;
• Driving a cultural change of continuous improvement and accountability about site housekeeping;
• Responsibility of ensuring there are adequate resources at the site for a productive and safe operation including staff allocation;
• Ensuring all policies and procedures are reviewed, maintained and complied with;
• Managing plant repair & maintenance schedules to ensure all machinery is maintained and serviced;
• Completing and reviewing permits to work, safety/risk assessments for new tasks, plant and equipment;
• Use of maintenance and incident reporting management systems and any other systems that may be required from time to time;
• Reviewing and maintaining Plant Assessor and MSDS online;        
• Reviewing vehicle and equipment daily records and maintenance requests.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

• Current Valid Driving License Class C (Car);
• Previous experience in a supervisory role in a similar or related industry;
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Experience in the maintenance of an organics operating facility or similar work site;
• Current Certificates in WorkCover General Induction; and
• Sound computer skills – working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite.
