We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Manufacturing Worker to join our team in Townsville.

In return for your skills and commitment, Ridley AgriProducts offers a supportive team environment, great culture and excellent benefits. The successful applicant will initially commence employment as part of our team as a general mill hand in our feed manufacturing operation.

The key responsibilities for this position include:

  • General Process  - meeting daily production and quality targets

  • Maintaining a daily focus on health and safety

  • Following all work instructions, policies and procedures

  • Unloading and loading trucks

  • Forklift driving, manual and repetitive work

  • General cleaning of the workplace

  • Testing raw materials and finished products

  • Assist with inventory control, including stocktakes

  • Operation of the Probatch batching system and associated plant and equipment

 The key skills required for this role include: 

  • Forklift license (Mandatory)

  • Valid drivers licence

  • Be able to work rotating shifts (including on weekends) and overtime (both planned & unplanned)

  • Physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks

  • Be able to work in a team environment to meet all targets

  • Experience in process work and forklift driving is preferred

  • Basic computer skills

  • Mechanical aptitude
