An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Stores Person to join the Engineering team.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the position is responsible for:
- the effective and efficient operation of Stores in accordance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
- ensuring that all activities for the receipt and storage of aircraft components and materials are carried out in accordance with standards specified in documented procedures
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL:
- Understand the CASA requirements relating to the supply of aeronautical products
- Previous experience as a stores person/logistics officer in an aircraft maintenance facility.
- Understanding of the requirements for shelf life and calibrated tooling
- Be able to obtain and retain an Aviation Security Identification Card
- DESIRABLE:
- Experience in working with ALKYM computer system
- Previous experience in control of component repair/overhaul
- Current forklift licence
