Position Title:
Without this role M3 Logistics could not exist! This role is responsible for operating clamp and tyne forklifts to safely pick, load and unload freight ready and in the best condition for delivery to our customers every day. Current requirement is for the afternoon shift.
The Job:
- Operation of a range of forklifts including counterbalance (with clamp & tyne attachments), high reach and aislemaster forklifts, in accordance with SWMS and efficiency targets.
- Move freight to and from storage locations within the warehouse, ensuring loads are picked and prepared with best practice configuration for carriage.
- Picking, loading and unloading freight for delivery, ensuring damages are minimised during transport by effective palletisation and wrapping where necessary.
- Operation of RF scanners for picking and receiving freight.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, pick accuracy and product integrity are maintained at all times and any discrepancies reported immediately.
The Person:
To be successful in this role you must have a valid national licence to perform high risk work and 1-2 years' experience in forklift operation ideally within a 3PL warehouse environment.
A Certificate 3 in warehouse operations or Logistics would be well regarded.
