Job tasks and responsibilities
The Company is now seeking a Forklift operator / Labourer to join us. To be successful in your application we require a self-starter who can competently operate a forklift and follow instructions as requested. Ideally we would prefer you have relevant demonstrable experience and abilities including but not restricted to the following:
Skills and experience
- Adhere to all applicable company safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Take an active role in a team environment by demonstrating the following attributes: Good communication skills, reliable, punctual and polite.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal Supervision.
- Displays flexibility in work hours, staying back occasionally as requested to complete tasks.
- Able to complete work on time and to the desired standard as indicated by the Supervisor.
- Keeping all equipment and work areas clean and tidy, including full area clean after completion of any works.
- Extensive experience operating forklifts including carrying out pre starts and defect reporting.
- Ability to work a rotational afternoon shift, commonly 1 shift every four weeks is a prerequisite for the role.
- Loader experience will be highly regarded but not essential.
