Our client is a well known, successful manufacturer who offer their employees stability and potential growth opportunities. Situated in Southern Sydney, this role is a great opportunity for those wishing to further develop their career in Supply Chain. This is a 12 month contract role, working full time in their modern offices.

The Role

The Supply & Replenishment Planner will be responsible for developing replenishment plans based on forecast demand and customer orders and to ensure product availability and manage inventory.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Planning inventories and procuring different components and raw materials through local and foreign suppliers ensuring DIFOT targets are achieved and performing root cause analyses of DIFOT misses, out of stock and aged stock situations and implementing improvements. 
• Plan distribution of components across warehouses in NSW, QLD, VIC and WA to fulfill demand and ensure target stock levels are achieved.
• Participate in daily reviews with Customer Service and Demand Planning functions to review short and long term demand versus supply match. Negotiate demand, expedite orders and implement in-house fabrication solutions to ensure order fulfillment.

Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge and experience with SAP or other ERP System
• Minimum 3-5 Years experience in a similar role
• Excellent Excel skills, including Pivots, vLookup etc
• Ability to work within a team and independently
• High level time management, attention to detail and problem solving skills as well as strong communication skills, both written and verbal
