UPS offers work at home opportunity for an experienced Broker.
If you are a night owl this this role is for you. You will need to work anytime from 12 am to 8 am, five days per a week.
The position covers a wide range of services and legislative requirements for both Internal and External Customers in our Express freight clearance department for Express Air freight consignments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lodgement of Import Declarations
- Detailed Classification determinations and Valuation Methodology
- Lodge Australian Agriculture entries
- Ensuring all import clearances and releases are processed according to Australian Legislation.
- Providing technical advice to both internal and external customers.
- Auditing cleared consignments for compliance.
- Assisting with projects to continually improve Border Clearance functions, enabling the Department to stay at the forefront of the industry
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A current Customs Brokers License with minimum 2 years' experience as a licensed broker
- Express industry experience (Preferred)
- DAWR accreditation
- Cargo Wise Knowledge (Preferred)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Computer literate
- Possess Excellent written and verbal Communication skills
- Confident of working within a dynamic and successful team
