About the role:
As the Depot Manager you will be responsible for the daily operations of the depot and its staff by managing and overseeing:
- The loading and unloading of all vehicles through the depot
- All aspects of storage and distribution in the warehouse.
- The generation of Consignment Notes and RCTIs
- Completing Chep transfer/exchange documents
- Staffing levels at the depot
- Manifesting, allocating and tracking for local, interstate and intrastate freight
- The return of all paperwork to Head Office within designated timeframes
About you:
You will bring to this role:
- Sound knowledge of WH&S
- Previous experience with scheduling with a clear understanding of fatigue management
- Previous experience with load restraints and weight distribution
- Exceptional organisational, time management and communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar management role
- Demonstrated problem solving capabilities
- High level of computer skills
- Strong administration skills including but not limited to, faxing, scanning and photocopying
- Current Forklift and HR licence
- Your ability to be flexible with your working hours
