• Part time, 20 hours per week
• Kelvin Grove, QLD location

One in three Australians will need blood in their lifetime. At the Australian Red Cross Blood Service, we’re entrusted with collecting, processing and delivering this vital supply.

We’re proudly in the business of saving lives. You’ll be working with a professional and close-knit team responsible for the distribution of blood and blood products to internal and external customers. This involves courier functions for stores, blood components and products to locations around QLD and interstate. Your challenge will be to work efficiently while managing our precious stock, to meet the needs of our customers. 

You will have:

• HC Licence
• Knowledge of relevant road, transport and OHS legislation
• Good manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items on a regular basis
• Awareness of Good Manufacturing Practice and the Australian Code of GMP
• Experience in the distribution of blood and its products for clinical or CSL use (desirable)
• Ability to work a flexible working roster across 7 days per week with morning, afternoon and evening shifts

• An excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style
• Great with attention to detail and meeting strict deadlines
• Computer savvy and able to multi task
