Key aspects of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing and developing relationships with key customers and relevant contacts within that business
  • Maintaining a consistent and high level of service to ensure customer’s expectations are always met
  • Supporting with further business development and continuously looking for opportunities for growth
  • Identifying and investigating problems and providing effective solutions
  • Completing reports, costings and answering customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner

Competencies and Skills Required:

  • 5+ years freight forwarding operational or freight forwarding customer service experience
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Relationship management and influencing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of GT Nexus preferable
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
