We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader – Cut and Bent Processing to join our team at our brand new facility at Sunshine North. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team to meet daily and weekly production KPI’s and goals with a strong emphasis on all safety and quality standards of Ausreo within a manufacturing environment. The role will also include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Adhere to all Ausreo protocols including WH & Safety and Code of Conduct policies
Supervision of employees within the shift to ensure uninterrupted production process
Develop, train and motivate employees to acquire maximum efficiency, productivity, co-operation and morale
Effective distribution of work load amongst Operators to meet daily and weekly production goals
Manage and issue work instructions to Operators as necessary to ensure shift targets are met
Ensure workload is distributed evenly and correctly according to priority (date, loading, urgency)
Ensure operators have sufficient resources to carry out work load allocated
Maintain and establish high degree of reliability and quality awareness among all staff within cut and bent processing as determined by quality procedures

To Be Successful

Previous experience in leading a team would be advantageous but not desirable
Minimum 2 years’ experience with manufacturing reinforcement steel
Well organised and attention to detail
Strong communication skills
High degree of quality awareness
