Job Description
We are seeking a experienced Customer Service Representative to join our account management team, based in Waterloo. This full time role reports directly to the Sydney Branch Manager.
ABOUT THE JOB – Your Task and Responsibilities
- You will be working closely with key customers providing updates in a timely and professional manner
- You will implement and revise customer expectations and requirements
- A person with sound operations knowledge in Import/Export Operations or strong Customer Service in International Freight from local experience is sought
- You will be confident to deal with customers on a regular basis with sound English communication skills and strong computer skills
- Operational/transport tasks included, as needed
- You will have responsibility for efficient customer support to client base
- Assisting with the development of customer presentations, including face-to-face contact with clients, as needed
- Ensuring that all document processing requirements meet agreed customer service standards.

- 3+ years freight forwarding industry experience
- Excellent customer service skills, computer and communication skills
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Lateral and progressive thinking
- Strong attention to detail and versatility
- EDI experience is a advantage
- Strong customer focus
