First Ever has just launched as an Online Sports Apparel Brand that will supply uniforms and other clothing to junior grassroots and elite sporting teams across Australia. 
  
We are currently seeking an experienced Factory Production Manager to play a key role in the development of a new business in sporting apparel. You will oversee the day to day running and operation of the factory.  

Responsibilities include: 

• Implementing control procedures to ensure statutory compliance, health and safety compliance, and environmental and quality systems. 
• Facilitate manufacturing techniques to generate processes across all areas.
• Managing of the operations of the factory to ensure that its running smoothly.
• Management of staff within the factory, to ensure strong performance.
• Develops the production layout including equipment, workflow, methods, and utilization.
• Ensures compliance to the Quality Management System.
• Ensures all production equipment is within calibration and preventative maintenance cycle.
• Planning and organising production schedules.
• Ensuring product is manufactured at the right cost, quality levels and timelines.

You will work closely with a consultant for the first 8 weeks to establish effective processes and systems to ensure the successful operation of the factory.

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
• Respect and adherence of relevant policies, procedures, laws and regulations. 
• Experience in a similar role.
