The opportunity?
As part of Toll Group’s new growth strategy, an opportunity has become available within our Global Logistics division for an experienced Warehouse Manager to be responsible for ensuring the effective operation, management and leadership of the warehouse and associated distribution activities. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a safe work environment, leadership and development of employees, effective management of labor and equipment, and cost control.
Additionally you will be responsible for:
- Transport and warehouse operations for contract clients requiring high levels of customer service and customer satisfaction
- Managing freight movements and storage between local hubs, company and client sites
- Drive the implementation of strategic initiatives and continuous improvement activities in the depot
- Financial reporting and review, including cost modelling and warehouse analytics
- Compliance with Toll's Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) related policies and procedures
The ideal candidate?
You will have relevant experience managing site operations across logistics, manufacturing, automotive or industrial. You will be required to successfully maintain a professional and motivated team through leadership and daily engagement whilst maintaining a forward focus to implement sustained structure and process improvements.
