Casual Infield MC Driver - Cooper Basin, SA

Toll People is seeking an MC driver to cart fuel, water and general freight in and around the Cooper Basin. You will be required to be flexible as to what you cart as needs change on a day to day basis. We are looking for someone who can uphold Tolls values and provide excellent customer service and consistently work to Tolls high safety standards. You will need to have the ability to obtain a National Police Check.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Carting fuel, water and general freight in and around the Cooper Basin.
• Correct, secure and safe loading of vehicles.
• Report all damages, faulty equipment or accidents.
• Conduct and present yourself in an appropriate manner
• Pay particular attention to the mechanical and safe use of trucks and trailers.
• Check vehicle before start up as per checklist.
• Refuel trucks as required.
• Respect and look after equipment in your control including keeping the interior of the truck clean and tidy at all times and the exterior to be washed when dirty.
• Obey all speed limits and safety zones.
• Comply with the conditions of entry at all depots and business premises.
• Take part in all safety campaigns and embrace the Toll People safety culture.
• Look after and secure any equipment supplied with your vehicle in line with regulation.
• All paperwork must be completed accurately and handed in to the correct department at the end of the trip including but not limited to work diaries and driver run sheets.
• Lock your vehicle at the end of the day and clean your air tanks

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will be able to work autonomously and at the same time, contribute to a great team environment and the Toll Way.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• MC Drivers License
• Bulk Dangerous Goods License
• A basic mechanical understanding of equipment to be operated for problem diagnosis in remote locations
• Proven experience in road train operations.
• Sound knowledge of load restraint

This role is flying out of Adelaide working two weeks on and two weeks off roster basis.
