Our client, based in the Hexham region is a recognised leader in protective metal coatings for industry sectors including commercial and residential construction; infrastructure; manufacturing; mining, oil & gas and agriculture.

They currently have a several positions available for reliable, hardworking general hands with Forklift experience. This is an ongoing position, Monday - Friday, Day and afternoon shifts with overtime when required.

Duties will include:

• Hanging/stacking items
• Loading and Unloading stock
• Quality Checking
• Forklift operations
• General Warehousing /factory duties all involving manual handling
• Adhering to WH&S Processes and Procedures

The successful applicants will have:

• WHS Construction Induction Card
• Current LF forklift licence and 12 months minimum experience
• Overhead Crane ticket or experience (not essential but highly regarded)
• A continuous solid work history with 2 contactable referees
• have the ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
• Drivers license and own transport
• Be physically capable to meet the demands of manual work
• A good attitude and strong desire to secure a long term job
• Be available for immediate start

A mandatory drug & alcohol screen will be required for all successful candidates prior to commencement
