Are you a Machine Operator with Overhead crane experience and Fabrication and have worked with heavy Steel?
If you are, we want to hear from you! We have an exciting vacancy with one of our Steel Engineering clients in the Eastern Suburbs. This role will suit someone with the mechanical aptitude, can read and understand engineering drawings and is willing to learn on the job. Ideally, we are looking for people who have worked in the heavy steel industry to join their busy team on a casual basis (full-time hours) in view to permanent employment.
-DAYSHIFT - 7AM- 3:30PM MONDAY TO THURSDAY AND FRIDAY 7AM-1PM
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Have at least 3-5 years experience in Machine operating
- You will be involved in setting, operating and programming machinery
- Mechanically minded with previous experience in the steel industry
- Willing to learn or be trained on Plate rolling machines.
- Must have welding and steel fabrication experience
- Current FL license and previous overhead crane experience
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have stable work history along with 2 contactable references.
