Production Manager

Endeavour Foundation is a fast growing for-purpose national organisation with over 5,000 staff plus volunteers, providing support and services to people with a disability in over 300 locations nationally. About the Role

Our opportunity will efficiently plan and manage production processes within the Geebung site in order to maximise commercial outcomes.

• Drive best practice initiatives that contribute to long - term operational excellence, with a focus on continuous improvement, (LEAN Manufacturing Principles), operational efficiency and employment outcomes
• Create and provide accurate quotes to customers to ensure competitiveness
• Design all staff day to day movements to ensure your team completes their daily production needs
• Assist in the Coordination of quality control processes applicable to your area to ensure compliance
• Negotiate with customers and suppliers as necessary to maintain product loads and customer satisfaction.
• Establish team goals and follow the Performance, Development and Review program leading at Endeavour.
• Manage the performance of the team through the establishment of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and through regular training to ensure staff understand and meet the expectations of their role and business objectives are being met.

About You

• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and evaluating production systems to ensure maximum production potential is fully utilised.
• Demonstrated experience in scheduling production to meet deadlines to ensure customer's needs are met.
• Experience in leading a team of people to achieve set outcomes and desired behaviours.
• Working knowledge of relevant Workplace Health and Safety legislation to ensure compliance.
• Experience in financial management, reporting and data management.
• A high level of interpersonal and communication skills to develop relationships with team members and stakeholders and deal with issues of a sensitive nature.
• Committed to developing skills and enhancing personal development.

Before commencing with Endeavour Foundation you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History check and hold or be willing to obtain a positive notice from Disability Services (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue card).
