Allied Pinnacle is the result of the merger of two companies, Allied Mills and Pinnacle Bakery & Integrated Ingredients. This merge was completed on 31 March 2017.

A permanent opportunity is now available for a Delivery Truck Driver, based at our Truganina Distribution Centre. 

Key accountabilities include:

  • Pack and downstack customer orders for delivery & pick-up
  • Manual handling of FMCG goods - dry, chilled & frozen
  • Complete necessary delivery paperwork including manifests etc.
  • Provide high level of customer service
  • Demonstrate a high level of safety in the workplace and on the road
  • Deliveries of our products through both Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria
  • Complete vehicle inspections including pre-start checks
  • Operate the truck & tailgate lifter in & around tight areas with traffic
  • Maintain the appearance & cleanliness of vehicles

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Current MR Licence (minimum)
  • Forklift licence is preferred
  • Demonstrated on the road experience in a similar position with a safe driving history
  • Attention to detail with paperwork, delivering correct items, time management & care taken when packing orders
  • Strong customer service focus, with a can do attitude as you will be representing the company
  • Knowledge of the Melbourne metro and regional Victoria areas
  • An impeccable attendance record, reliable and punctual
  • Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of all personnel within the workplace
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to identify and resolve issues/problems and promote quality and accuracy within all tasks
  • Requirement of manual handling as most deliveries are hand unload
  • This role will involve early morning starts (5:00 am), with maximum hours on road limits
  • Occasional overnight stays in Mildura required
