Equipped with a modern computerised batching system, our fleet of over forty concrete agitator trucks and professionally trained drivers ensures a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.
About the role
We currently have a full time Dispatcher/batcher vacancy. You will manage the taking of customer orders and daily dispatch of over 40 concrete trucks to maximise the operational performance of the plant.
This role requires someone who can show attention to detail, is well organized, able to manage staff and run the plant in an efficient and harmonious manner.
Daily tasks include:
- Manage all day to day aspects of concrete orders and dispatch
- Establish strong relationships with our customers
- Manage driver start times and hours to ensure compliance with all legislation
- Ensure compliance with OH&S policies, procedures and legislations, which includes participation in site safety meetings
- Oversee the ordering and stock control of raw materials
Skills and Experience
- Experience with allocations or scheduling is essential
- Sound knowledge of the transport and logistics and the construction industry
- Able to demonstrate leadership skills
- Exceptional communication skills with customers and staff
- Well-developed organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
- Strong computer literacy
- (Training in our custom dispatch software will be provided)
