General Hand / Pick Packer

Toll People are currently recruiting for General Hands / Pick Packers for our internal and external clients. These roles will suit someone looking for labour intense, fast paced environment with a commitment to quality. Shifts vary: available Monday through to Friday 4-12 hours per shift, depending on client requirement.

Please note that some positions require repetitive and heavy lifting.

You will be responsible for

• Loading/unloading of parcel and bulk freight
• Loading/unloading of trucks and containers
• Machine operation
• Pick/packing
• RF scanning
• Driver offsider
• General labouring
• General production work

To be successful in this role you will have

• Recent and consistent employment history within a similar position
• Experience in performing continuous labour intense manual handling
• Current drivers licence
• Current police clearance
• Be safety conscious
• Committed to casual on call employment; reliable for shifts at short notice (both day and afternoon shifts available)
• Able to work in a team environment as well as unsupervised

This work is performed in demanding conditions. Successful candidates will have an outstanding work ethic and resilience to physically challenging duties
