A well-established multinational freight forwarder located in Botany is currently seeking an experienced Customs Broker to join their team.  In the role you will be responsible for end-to-end Customs and Biosecurity task processing and in order to be considered for this role it is essential that you have experience in a comparable role in the Australian market place.   
 
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create and lodge Customs and Biosecurity entries
• Process applications, eg. Tariff Concession, Tradex, Cities, DOTARS, FTA, GST ruling
• Process Duty refunds and drawbacks
• Manage disbursement cost reduction via concession schemes
• Coordinate local deliveries
• Generate client invoices
• Provide customs valuation and tariff classification advice
• Customs audits - internal and client
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and internal and external stakeholders
• Support client outcomes via phone, email and in-person visits (latter only as required)

Role Requirements:

• Current ABF license including DAWR accreditation and CPD compliance
• High degree of numeracy, literacy and analytical skills
• Commercial focus and excellent customer service skills
• Adaptable, ethical and hands-on approach
• Ability to effectively interact and network with internal/external stakeholders to facilitate professional movement of all shipments
• First-class communication skills - written and verbal
• Ability to prioritise and time-manage
• Attention to detail
