We are seeking a candidate to join as Store person on 12 months fixed term contract with a potential to perm for the right candidate.

The Store person's job tasks and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Picking and packing orders.
• Pack orders to minimize the cost of freight. 
• Loading and unloading trucks with a reach forklift.
• Unload shipping container contents by counterbalance forklift and or occasional by hand.
• Receiving and checking of incoming goods as per company procedures.
• Prioritising orders for picking.
• Re-filling of shelves and maintain stock locations.
• Build and shrink wrap pallets ready for dispatch. 
• Load delivery vehicles.
• Ensure stock movements are managed accurately.
• Weekly stock takes requirements as per company procedures/requirements.
• Advise supervisor on stock and re-ordering levels.
• Enter details of received Packing slip into the computer and produce invoices (if required).
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Any other Ad hoc task as and when required by management.        

Key Skills / Abilities Required:

• Current High-Risk Licence - Forklift Truck (LF) or the ability to obtain one.
• Own transport to work.
• Previous warehouse experience is required along with experience in routine stores duties and the ability to adapt to the needs of the organisation.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• High level of accuracy with attention to detail.
• Highly motivated with good time management and organisational skills.
• .Ability to work well autonomously.
• Heavy repetitive lifting.
• Reliability and Punctuality is a MUST.
• Must have rights to work on a permanent, full-time basis in Australia.

 Note:

• Previous experience in fasteners is desirable but not essential.
• Ideally, you will have worked in a similar store person role.
